Senior Full-Stack Engineer (f/m/d) SaaS Marketplaces Integration

LOCATION: VIENNA/REMOTE | JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME

 

We are looking for a skilled and motivated full-stack engineer to join our brand new, cross-functional Self Service Platform team tasked with bringing our in-house built application to various cloud marketplaces.

As a part of a self-organizing team, your job would be to extend the existing MVP based on the insights and feedback from customers and the Product team.

You will work on complex issues and quickly adapt to the changing requirements and conditions. You will have an opportunity to impact the strategic company goals of growing customer acquisition and improving the onboarding experience for new clients.

What you'll do:

In the first month:

  • You get to know your team and get familiar with our product, technologies, systems & architecture, processes, and practices.
  • You will be introduced to the vision and current status of the Self Service Platform MPV that you’d be helping to develop
  • You will get your hands dirty implementing first few tasks and acquire hands-on experience working with our code, processes, and peers
  • You will start participating in the team rituals such as planning, prioritizations and retrospectives

In the first 6 months:

  • You will start taking ownership of more of Self Service platform topics and work closely with your Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and other dev team members to deliver customer value
  • You will gain more experience working with Adverity application, cloud marketplaces and learn how the Self Service platform connects both concepts

Beyond the first 6 months:

  • You will actively participate in the shaping of Self Service features based on customer feedback and tracking data
  • You will be able to work independently, receive and give feedback to your colleagues, PM and EM
  • You would be able to further develop your skills by joining one of our engineering programs initiatives that match your interests and embrace our continuous improvement culture
 

What you’ll need:

  • Python expertise - Python is almost a native language for you. You are fluent in at least one framework such as Django or Flask and up-to-date with the python ecosystem
  • You have experience building web interfaces and feel comfortable working with JavaScript and HTML, you have at least a basic knowledge of a modern frontend framework like React or Vue
  • Familiarity with software development process: using CI/CD tools, performing code reviews, writing unit tests, working in agile environment
  • Experience in diagnosing complex systems - performance, monitoring, logging, tracing.
  • A curious mind and fast learning skills. You have an appetite for continuous learning and you know when and how to dig deeper
  • You like taking ownership and work independently

 

Nice to have:

  • Opinions :-) 
  • Experience working with cloud platforms - AWS, Google, Azure
  • Being familiar with user tracking concepts for web applications 
  • Docker, Terraform
