Technical Writer (f/m/d)

LOCATION: VIENNA | JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME 

 

In this role you are responsible for the product documentation process in which you’ll create, maintain, organize and review content for our software platform. You’ll be part of the Product Management team in Vienna.

What you'll do:

  • After an onboarding phase in which you acquire in-depth knowledge of our SaaS platform and the underlying product development process, you’ll gradually take over the entire process for client-facing documentation.
  • You’ll create descriptive and supportive content tailored to the relevant target audiences and ensure existing content is updated and arranged in order with the current structure.
  • Discover, plan and prioritize new content in collaboration with the Product Management team as well as other relevant internal stakeholders like the Marketing, Client Services and Development teams.
  • Be a thought leader and internal ambassador for great documentation and its value to the product from a holistic perspective.
  • Proactively identify areas and processes with potential for improvement and automation in order to drive overall efficiency and effectiveness.
 

What you’ll need:

  • You have already worked in a similar role in a software development environment before and know how to run a good documentation process.
  • You have worked with HATs like Adobe RoboHelp, MadCap, etc..
  • If you have experience with programming and mark-up languages like Python, Markdown or CSS, it is a great plus.
  • You are self-driven, creative and enjoy collaborating with many different teams.
